Postr to your Flickr

Finally caving to a Flickr account last night, I was off to go start uploading some pictures. Looking at the Flickr Uploaders page,  I saw a Java application that supposedly worked with Linux. After downloading and installing it, all I was able to get were Java errors, even though I had Sun Java 5 and 6 installed. Oh well, it was probably just an error on my part.

Krusader - the alternative KDE file browser

KDE users have for a long time had the jack-of-all-trades, all-singing-all-dancing Konqueror for file management. In KDE 4 we'll be joined by the new Dolphin which will be the default file manager.

If you yearn for a change of file manager now, however, and you're a fan of the left-right split in your file manager, you might just like Krusader.

GNOME Gets XDS

Some might scream with joy. Some might say "Well, finally." Some don't even know what it is.
