Video Tutorial - Sync Sunbird with Google Calendar

In this short video tutorial, you will learn how to configure Mozilla's Sunbird calendaring application to synchronise with your Google Calendar. You get the best of both worlds - a desktop client and anywhere-access over the web.

    I think I've followed your instructions properly and the sync does seem to be working, but very slowly - sunbird takes 5 minutes to do anything while the google calendar link is open. Any suggestions?

    I did notice that Sunbird takes a bit longer to do things such as editing existing events -- it seems to wait for some time after the an event is 'dropped' into a new timeslot (as you can see in the video), for example, but it seemed to work acceptably well when I tried it.

    I'm afraid it's a while since I did this tutorial, so I don't know if something has changed since then to make this work differently, so I don't think I'll be much help in fixing it, sorry.
