A few days ago, I took a look at batch renaming application KRename.
In this short video tutorial, I show you how to invoke KRename from within Konqueror, and walk through a simple renaming workflow with a folder of images.

This is partly also a test of a new video workflow I’m using, which has been put together thanks to feedback on this post and other discussions. Special thanks to Heathenx for his extensive help so far.

The first step - ‘Select All’ - is not necessary. Just open up KRename from the actions window - all files will be listed.
