Caps Lock key

I think we all can agree: Caps Lock is a useless key, and should be removed from keyboard models. Until that time comes, there is still a use you can assign to the massive spacetaker above Shift. It might renew your faith in typing.

Reorder your Boot Menu Manually

Last week, I covered how to use KGRUBEditor to re-order the boot menu you see at startup, so that dual boot users could move Windows to the top of the list if they would like.

Linux Pre-Installs at 2.8% in the UK

The Inquirer is reporting that in the UK, 2.8% of PCs are now preinstalled with Linux. That figure has multiplied more than 28 times since January 2007.

The number of machines shipped with Linux preloaded on them has multiplied a whopping 28 times since Microsoft launched its Vista operating system in January 2007.
