Discussion: I've become addicted to Gnome Do
-
...and its Docky interface.
-
(woah, that kind of messed with the layout.)
-
I've been meaning to check out Gnome Do on my Fedora setup but it appears that I'll have to build it from source to get the latest version.
-
Jacob... you're breaking my site here! :P
Yes though, docks rock. I'm an OSX user most of the time (boo hiss i know) and the dock is the way to be.
Glad you've seen the light.

Yes.. Gnome Do rocks. And the importantn and the most cool part is that it is a learning interface, i.e, it learns about the applications you use more frequently, and those are the ones sown first, as you pree a letter.

Apparently, Docky and Do are being split into two separate projects. Much of the discussion seems to have taken place on IRC, so it's tricky to find out the details, but Docky has its own Launchpad entry now: https://launchpad.net/docky
I've tried building it from the source, and it's very nice!
